2. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices displayed on the website are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR).

  • Prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). Shipping charges are calculated dynamically at checkout and are visible before final payment confirmation.

  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is fulfilled. If an item is mistakenly mispriced, we will notify you and offer a full refund.

3. Agreement of Sale & Order Review

  • In accordance with the ECT Act, you will be given an opportunity to review your entire transaction, correct any mistakes, or withdraw from the order entirely before finalizing your purchase.

  • A contract of sale is only concluded once we have successfully verified your payment and dispatched a formal "Order Shipped" email confirmation.

4. Cooling-Off Period (ECT Act Section 44)

  • You are entitled to cancel any transaction for goods purchased on this website within 7 days of receiving the goods, without penalty or reason.

  • The customer will bear the direct cost of returning the goods to us. Goods must be returned unused and in their original packaging.

  • Exceptions to the cooling-off period: Personal hygiene items, unsealed audio/video recordings or software, and custom-made or personalized products.

We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) 4 of 2013.

  • Send optional promotional marketing (only if you opt-in at checkout).

3. Third-Party Sharing

We will never sell your data. We share necessary shipping data with our courier partners The Courier Guy and financial data with our secure payment gateway YOCO, both of which comply strictly with POPIA.

Refund & Returns Policy

1. Returns for Change of Mind

  • If you change your mind, you can return your item within 14 days of delivery.

  • To be eligible, items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and in their original packaging.

  • The cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the responsibility of the customer.

2. Damaged or Defective Goods (CPA Section 56)

  • If your item arrives damaged we will gladly replace it, or issue a full refund.

  • Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery and notify us of any transit damage within 48 hours at info@liveandloaf.co.za with photos of the damage.

3. Processing of Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email.

  • Approved refunds will be processed using your original payment method (Credit Card, Instant EFT, etc.) within 5-7 business days.
